Wow, March went by just like THAT! And we failed to tell about some of the happenings at the seminary so here goes...
Classes began on March 7th and on the 11th we had a reception for the new students. This always includes giving their testimonies. Here they get some orientation from Pastor Jair, the vice-director.
Here they are-Elisabete, Josiane, Enio, Daniel and Michael. I think they're smiling because there is some cake waiting for them, don't you think?
We definitely need a closer look at the beautiful cake. And it was as tasty as it was beautiful, believe me!
We have 28 students this semester and these are 7 of the girls-Elisabete, Gleiciane, Susana, Lia, Kelsey, Denise and Débora.
So classes are going on every day, from Bible to computer technology, as seen in this picture.
And, of course (hello!), my English I class. These are my 4 students, Michael, Bete, Daniel and Ronaldo. They just put together Psalm 23:2, spelling out each word. Don't they just look proud as punch?
A few days ago we had our 4 seminaristas, that help us at church, over to our house for some pizza. Bete came along, too. We enjoy being with any and all of our students and look forward to the days and months ahead of us in this semester. Pray for them and us!
