Our daughter, Sharon, and her family arrived here late Sunday afternoon and stayed for almost 3 days. It was a lovely Mother's day gift for me, a blessing from the Lord, a bright spot in the middle of some busy days. It isn't every missionary that gets to have a daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren nearby! Although they live 4 hours to the south of us, that's pretty close in comparison to our other children who live on another continent and thousands of miles away! This is just part of missionary life. Since the weather stayed cold the whole time they were here, we enjoyed sitting by the fireplace a few times to enjoy its warmth as well as the warmth of fellowship and sharing. Yum, sharing included eating donuts that Sharon made one evening! Here's little Juliana who turned 2 months old while she was here. The cold weather motivated mommy Sharon to go out and buy her a new winter cap...
